Report - The Bengal Dynasty/Black Greyhound pub Cheshire August 2019

The pub stands. Derelict. And has done so for many years. Planning permission now granted to demolish after 4 attempts the council agreed. The current structure was built in 1938

and adjoining the pub is the formers Indian restaurant which was destroyed in a suspicious fire in 2015.

That is falling down, what a shame, so many pubs have closed & trashed now days. Good report though

Potentially; the Bengal was built post 1980 after the use of asbestos was prohibited. In the pub there may be minimal amounts within the ACM s like most buildings. Not a concern if it is damp or left undisturbed tbh

Yes, it’s in a worse condition now then these photos we visited a few weeks ago but still easy to enter
