I don't rember there being mention of a Thor site here. Their usually destiguishable by a concrete t shape on the ground. These have only been removed in recent years.

Some sites have been protected under the national monuments site legislation in recent years so can't be removed.

They generally on consist as I said of a concrete T shaped floor area. Maybe the odd blast wall to protect operators and a brick and concrete small building and that's about it.

Basically fire and forget sites.

There's plenty of sites along the A1 corridor, Northampton area, Oundle etc.

See (Google) Lutton Road Near Hemington Nr. OUNDLE site not secret so don't mind listing.

Flax site and other site are two different sites.

The site above flat concrete area is a 50's Thor site re-looked on Google. Youvcant just make out the T shaped layout which the farmer has obviously added to in preceeding years to provide a better hard standing.
