The only info on this is that it closed about 1977 and is awaiting demolition. A typical Maltese cinema, it is very plain, by our standards. The level, tiled floor of the stalls and the insignificant entrance are typical features, shops and houses are are more profitable street frontage.
It appears to be used for storage and a large door has been cut into the screen wall. As this was open, a lightning urbex was done, but on returning to the door, met a bemused Maltese couple who had come for their car and wanted to know what I was doing there? It was too late, it had been done!
What entrance? A couple of the neon letters survive on the right wall
Side view
Auditorium and small balcony
The foyer
Stairs to balcony
Colour scheme
Remains of the projection room
Sophisticated lighting control panel
Towards the screen....and bemused Maltese couple!
