I paid a re-visit recently with JasperB - thanks again
A beautiful set of buildings, strangely a hunk of which remains wide open, but at the same time reassuringly remains unmolested. The parts in a state of conversion are disappointingly sanitised; I can't see that much in the way of internal original features are preserved in the appartments being created, which must be a shame for those with pockets deep enough to be able to afford the asking price.
Having said that, I wouldn't mind living amongst this gothic splendour.
Photos from the previous visit can be found here: http://s638.photobucket.com/albums/uu106/OneFlewEast/Royal Masonic School for Boys - Bushey/
Last time I was here was in August and it was hot as you like, but sadly not quite so this time.
I've bought a new lens, and directed my attention to the finer points this time round. God is in the detail.
