Ive walked past this building pretty much every day for a long time. Looking from the outside the carpark is overgrown, with felled cctv poles at each corner. Keypads now hang from the gated entrances, youths have smashed up the controls along with external AC units along the side of the building. Despite its slightly derelict outer appearance, you get the idea of past high security from the place. My feet were itching to explore.

In we go! Descending into the first hall a large roller door is at one end, the controls ripped out:

The other end has a platform, I assume this lifts to unload lorries when they came in:

Presumably the cargo:

Emergency exits:

A large sliding door permitted entry to the next bit:

Round the corner were secure exchange units:

Behind which was a room with bigger versions:

Onwards through narrow corridors with various security measures:

And we hit the money! (maybe a few years ago!)

In the vault were two rooms and a good echo!

Exposed electrics were everywhere:

And the owners had decommissioned the place with a sledgehammer!

Rooms and corridors were in abundance, although most were stripped so did not take many photos. Meeting rooms, kitchens, bathroom and toilets were near the outside walls.

I wish notices like this were up in my place:

A plant room had heating/cooling equipment:

Im pleased to know what this building is for, a money storage facility for 3 banks. This trip was mainly exploring, so sorry for the point and click style photos!! I expect I'll return at some point to take some proper photos.
