Been wanting to get this done for a time but its a fair trek from Sheffield but with the weather being so dry it would have been rude not to have got out and done something . Teaming up again with Nuboid we arrived early doors and parked up outside the Weavers arms and hoped over the wall at the side of the park and Burnley street .It was a bigger drop down here than we were hoping
start point bigish culvert with a trench stream running in the middle of it
moving on downwards Nuboid spotted another stream and tunnel coming in on our left
few steps going up to it but was only small
moving on further down this side tunnel got even smaller it comes out on park road where the Oak hill clough goes underground but we diddnt fancy crawling all that way so back to the main explore
light at the end then looking back
There now was an open air section before the next culvert i haddnt anticipated this but it was no problem
twin box section here side by side then the culvert widened
lovely brick vaulting between the girders then looking back to the twin box section
moving on lovely old bridge this section was the best section
last bit of it was corrugated metal !
Then outside in the heart of Todmorden its a great little place
Todmorden town hall then moving forward 2 options here we went right

last pic looking back , We climbed out here just below Morrisons there was another smaller culvert further on but we couldnt be bothered with it on the whole a good explore but its only short sections and i was left feeling as though we never got going properly but on the plus side the water was very clear ( loads of fish always a good sign ) and its blown the cobwebs of me and my torches and got me back underground after a long lay off ! cheers for viewing 👍
