Please note that Twesledown has not been used for some time, but last time I drove past they were holding an event ?... So unless they made some big changes and fixed alot of things quickly it still looks like this. Also I am unsure about their website as Alot of their events that are listed didn't/dont seem to take place ?..
Well, after a good few months out of buisness, Its time to get down and dirty.
Twesledown Racecourse. I cant seem to find alot of history about this place apart from it was bought in 1854 by the British army for troop training in the Crimea war. Then in 1880 was fully reconized as a racecourse, and in 1948 held all the equestrian events during the London Olympic games.
Site must/is part live so If it doesnt belong here than feel free to dispose off...
Solo visit as I now finish work at 12.30pm so have alot of time on my hands.. ( More sploring..yay )
