Report - Upper George St Deep level shelter, Luton - April 2014

Been working on these for a while now, props to Els for doing the research & getting me on board with this one.
of the 3 shelters located we accessed 2, Conway road & Upper george street.

I think there is a lot of mytholodgy about the Luton Shelters. We couldn't find the ones in Kingsway Recreation Park, Albert Road or Wardown Park so I don't think they are there. There is also one in Beech Hill that we didn't look for. I've seen another report on derp about a 8th shelter in the middle of a park but I couldn't locate that anywhere.

I think the UGS on is the same one as the one outside the town hall.

Worth noting if you plan a visit these are flooded in parts at the least you will need wellies cos its a foot deep easy.
