Here's something a bit different! This garden centre closed in 2007 and a lot of the grounds have been developed for housing (the car park and the outside display areas and greenhouses). The main building was part of a farm that dates back to the 16th century, but was given permission for change of use to a garden centre in 1977.There is further development planned to convert this building to accommodation, but this was put in back in 2010 so we are unsure of the future of this building at the moment....
I have to admit I quite enjoyed this one, except I wasnt too keen on the crunchy snails under-foot
They were everywhere!
Was tempted to have one of these many free snacks...
Waiting for my breakfast...
These bricked up doors/windows used to go to the outside areas, nothing there now but new houses.
This must be the Grade II Listed Barn that has been here for ages...
Thanks
