My personal preference is for the heavily decayed older hospital type of structure, something that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
This set is on a group of them that I have wanted to see for some time. On earlier group trips the Stooges visited the main campus. On this solo trip I got back to that one area we didn’t get to.
It is a small compound of old brick buildings located just off the main campus up on a hill. Totally overgrown, not visible from the road or campus the entrance is marked with a large keep out video surveillance sign.
All though the buildings where all but empty the level of decay and extent to which nature had taken them back was awesome.
