Currently writing a magazine article on UE and was lucky enough to be shown around West Park by a couple of seasoned explorers.
Was a great introduction to urbex and I can really see why this community is growing.
We must have bumped into about 16 others throughout the day, all doing the same as us. If anyone was there this Sunday I was the one carrying around the notepad with the other couple!
The photos below are from the childrens creche and the rehab block. You'll see that its getting torn up pretty quickly, we spoke to a builder (right after he caught us) and he predicted it will all be gone within 2 months.
So here we have, West Park - Enjoy.
View from the ward.
Very eerie section of the childrens creche.
Apparently this is the main hall.
Just outside the main hall.
An interesting insight into the minds of the inmates...
For the next 2 months, maybe.
Just want to say a big thankyou to the couple who took me around. You know who you are!
