Was in Epsom this weekend fresh from a formal function - not dressed for a walkabout, but took the Disco for a drive around the construction site to see what was left. On the whole, very sad to see so many people now living there - I wonder how many actually realise they are living in an ex-lunatic asylum. And I wonder who'll get a bedroom on the plot of what was once a padded cell. Cue nightmares forevermore!
Anyway, not a "report," but a "general" post for people out of interest...
As an aside, it seems the "seating shelters" are protected - as well as the water tower". All over the site they have either been refurb'd, or are protected by metal barriers - suggesting they are all to be retained?
