Visited here with @host and a reet good mill it turned out to be.

History is surprisingly difficult to find on this old worsted-spinning mill built around 1850 on the Black Brook in a style typical of the region. It was last home to John Horsfall & sons producing textiles and specialising in "travel textiles"
It seems the weaving sheds were demo'd a while back and the same could be on the cards for the rest of the mill at some point.

The powers that be have attempted to seal this up to anyone interested in going. Internal doors have had some (totally bypass-able) repairs made and some of the more obvious access points have been newly boarded. The door up to the tower has been chained - again, easy to bypass (unless you're plus 14 stone.)

Just as a head's up.

Also, that 'females/young persons must not clean machinery during meal times' sign has been swiped for posterity.

Not by me, I should add.

I was sat outside watching the carpenter try and seal bit up with the owner, pretty glad I arrived a little later than I intended :D

Was here again not so long ago. Everything inside still doable. A few changes since the last time
