Westwood Quarry, Bradford On Avon 07-11-09
Started the day with a revisit to this quarry. As normal I met up with Tommo in Chippenham. He had a few more with him. By the time we got in there were 12 of us. Spungletrumpet, mr_bones and all the others that I can't remember the pseudonyms for
This quarry is a very easy explore. Good to walk round and very clean and tidy. It has a good combination of original quarry and and what the space was use for once the stone was taken.
I was told that part of the quarry was use as a motorcycle manufacturers. I didn't see any bike parts but there were car doors and bumpers there. The space used for this is massive. Lots of working spaces, offices, toilets and fantastic hand basins.
I'm glad I took some sparklers in to do some light painting. enjoy the photo's
