Report - Westwood School - Rugeley. June 2016

Had a relaxed wander around here recently with Urblex. Nice little school off the beaten track. Some cool bits still to see with some great nature egress. Unfortunately vandalism has taken it's toll also with parts of it being quite wreaked. From what I can gather the school was a specialist residential school for young people with Autism, it was originally called Pipewood School. It closed in 2002 and the new school has been built right next door. I can attest to the new schools location as we had to be careful not to be spotted from the rather full sounding playground as we moved around this place.

Yeah I did as well mate, only the 2nd school I've done & it was pretty cool, makes up for the schools we failed at in the past

Is this place still standing? I’ve tried to have a look on maps but I can’t seem to find it. So I’m presuming it’s been knocked down

Couldn’t tell you, I don’t live anywhere near it so can only suggest google maps which you’ve already tried ‍♂️
