Hello everyone I am not really to sure on the history of this place but I know that it was an old water pumping station for a resovoir 200m away. Have a great day 😀 P.s does anybody know of any freshly abandoned spots around huddersfield becuase i have done almost all spots around there. Thank you.

Where is this?
I thought Whitley pumping Station was a red brick place in Coventry.
Would a pumping station be 200 miles away from the resovoir?

mmmm...1970s sewerage works remains rather than pumping station for the very small reservoir at Whitley?

OK, that makes a bit more sense.
It's a water treatment plant, supposedly there's an underground bunker with it but I've not been so can not confirm.

Yes been here and bumped into a local 80 year old who had been in the area since whitley had walk in coal mines. Said it use to treat the mine water and go into whitley. Apparently its all free flowing in and out which is pretty cool. He said they use to be security on the res at one point. Unsure why its only a res. A bloke from in Thornhill now owns it and is trying to develop it. The locals are resisting saying the access road isnt a bridleway.
