Visited at about Nine oclock last night. Looks prety much the same as when Bobblehead visited last November.
Apart from the obvious welded torlift hatch the post is in prety good nick to say where it is near a pit village.
The compound seems complete only the gate is missing.
Through the gateway are steps leading up the mound.
Note the steel telegraph pole in the background.
Looking back down the steps.
The shaft looks in excellent condition complete with the new style Torlift hatch.
Sadly welded. Just tacked at either side but the Torlift plug cover flap is securely welded down.
The vent shaft is in a fair condition although both its louvres are missing.
Next to the post there was a Triangulation pillar (Trig point) I say was because it is completely smashed. that must have taken some doing?:crazy
