Basically it's a huge Georgian-style pile that's been empty for quite some time. Now owned by billionaire Yelena Baturina, the wife of the Mayor of Moscow, it's undergoing renovation. Apparently it's on the English Heritages building a risk register, though to me the building looked in good shape. The garden's don't appear to have faired so well mind.
A bit an odd one, this place. Looks huge on the outside but seems to shrink as soon as your in it.
