WSP was built in 1927 by the Philadelphia Electric Company as part of their complex steam delivery system that still operates beneath center-city Philadelphia. Standing 163 ft. high, the dominating structure has been abandoned for nearly 30 years. While some proposals to convert the derelict plant to a "trash-to-steam" incinerator have been suggested, the buildings future remains in limbo.
These pictures are from a very spontaneous explore with my cousin, who generally doesn't go out of her way to explore. That being said, she is down as fuck and is probably one of the ballsiest people I know. I've since been back with a tripod and a mask (the asbestos concentration is one of the worst I've seen) but I don't have these pictures uploaded yet. Maybe I'll post another at some point.

On the roof I lost track of my cousin, only to eventually find her on top of one of the smoke stacks
