Report - Milton Green Highways Depot - Milton Green, Cheshire - October 23

This place has been posted a few times but is one we've wanted a look at ever since the first report appeared so had to check it out while in the area.

There really isn't much history on this place, it appears to have been used as a vehicle maintenance depot for highways vehicles. Most of the records and notes on site date to around the 90's. There are plans for a housing development on site online.

While it doesn't seem like this place would be very interesting at first glance the decay is great and there are a lot of cool bits and pieces left behind, we found it very photogenic. Its a really enjoyable explore.

Really nice set and I agree it is a lot more interesting than it should be. The decay here is great and little to no vandalism whatsoever.

Personally I wouldn't touch that house with a bargepole, not a fan of rummaging through pensioners belongings while their in care homes, the fire engines and cars are cool though and worth a look.

There are some lovely halls/manors about that are worth checking out that are technically houses, it's not the fact that it's a house as such, just the situation of the owners still being around apparently, all their stuff being inside and the family trying to keep people out, It's a principals thing really, everyone has their own kind of lines and boundaries they draw in this hobby, and cluttered junk filled houses don't appeal from a photography point of view either tbh.
