xtra large for your viewing pleasure...

fuel oil & sea water dripping down your neck makes for grainy shots

when I took this image I didn't think much of it, but its grown on me with time & heindsight, I linked this one large because it hints at the scale of the ship & the structure behind, and also to highlight that shiney big starboard proper which I whacked my head off when returning to the camera afterwards :s

i will put a report up possible with all these on once i get them scanned if people want me too

from our trip to the south for urban foxes birthday i shot about 2 and a half rolls (medium format) so about 25 images but have only scanned the start of it and here are a couple of my favourites

any crit would be nice too (bear in mind that i lost a bit of shadow and highlight detail transferring these to jpeg which is annoying)

springfield hospital (thanks for the tip speed)

atop something in newcastle, about to taste a cctv camera - film demonstrating its awesome ability to cope with a number of different tempretures of light in the same shot, unlike digital which has a tantrum

Like a dinosaur! - Inside newport bridge - as we descened (again) just saw this rib like structure and thought, SHOT!

Indus-Tral decAy, just look at those ferns & shrubs growing, this is already a metaphor for british industry and soon it will all look like this before swiftly being transformed into gordonbrown boxhomes

VC & NC are nice, the guy keeps saying that portra is a press film and is deliberalty grainy, IMHO its not grainy, I think its the dev chemical, its causing something weird to happen. But, I'm still way more than happy with the results I get via him, so I'm gonna stick with it.
Portra VC, kodak tmax, and ilford panF50 go in the 120
portra NC, kodak tmax, ilford hp5, kodak ektar, fuji reala100 goes in the 35mm

If you want mint results, with pracitcally lifelike colours and good fluro light handling, get the ektar or reala100, they really are suburb films. portra gives more contrast and TBH less detail, but also gives OMGJIZZLORD green & purple hues :D

some of my latest 35mm offerings, though 120mm colour will be on their way soon!

These are elsewhere on the forum as part of a report. but posting them here to show them at a decent res, to show the detail that 35mm can capture when it is developed and scanned properly. I get these done by my friendly film bloke, hes a high street independant and he does a brilliant job. Cost is about £2/roll for these. If anyone has a decent batch of films they'd like developed you can send them to me, and I will in turn run them past him on my next trip ;)
