The grade II listed mansion at Fulmer Hall was the strategic HQ for Allied bombing control in the last war.

More recently it has been a research lab for the British subsidiary of the French Servier Research Group. The extensions on the property were used for animal testing with the gas tanks still in tact. One of the gas chamber doors is pictured. Some private documents from the animal testing still lay on the flooded basement floor.

Seen pictured is a room that’s been overwhelmed with mould, mildew and grass! The very damp conditions are also home to frogs. This is in the most recent development, which was a working office space over 10 years ago.

The 21-acre green belt site with mansion, coach house, entrance lodge and other buildings amounting to more than 30,000 sq ft of offices and labs was sold in a few years ago for more than £3.5million. Currently occupied by a few tenants in other areas of the house, new owners are looking to invest in the property and bring it back to a usable and modern standard.

Most recently the property has been used as a filming location by Actors Studio based at Pinewood Studios just around the corner in Iver Heath. The property has been a backdrop for their productions and offered a unique setting for scenes.

This is a private site and permission was granted to visit and photograph.

Its a weird one this. Its a stunning building, but the inside looks so industrial. Its a surprise really. Thats one leaky roof, making that carpet of moss.
Good report, some different photos. Well done on 1st report, welcome to 28Dl
