Report - Aquarena swimming pool worthing Sep16

aquarena closed in 2013 after 45 years in business, replaced by a brand new leisure center next door, plans to demolish it and build a 21 story apartment block have since fallen through.

Was a good explore this one, not often a derelict swimming pool pops up in this neck of the wood, so as soon as this did we were on it.

We turned up in the middle of the night and found our acsess after a bit of a search, once inside it became apparent that we wouldnt get away with waving torches around, so retreated back to the car and got our heads down for a couple of hours till dawn.

Was the waterslide any good?

To be honest I didn't try it out, had my daughter with me so was being over paranoid about not getting caught

It was easy enough but you gotta time it right, it's over looked as you probably know, the way I went in has been sealed, but I'm pretty sure there's another way.

there is always another way in, it would be just so funny to have another walk around the placed, before it gets completely trashed, by the local Worthing chavs

hehe we went there couple of weeks ago and got asked to leave by a life guard that thought he knew it all , just said "gates are open and trespass is a civil act get over it ! I'm only here to see the place one last time and photograph it"
