First expedition as a married man and as one without my gallbladder. After crawling around the foundations of Palais De Dance and failing hugely we moved onto what was my first attempt at urbex a few years ago, that I failed at, so we finally got all the way through it. After spending 40 minutes looking in all the wrong places we found our corner and got into the meat of the place.
There's not a huge amount left hence the slightly random collection of photos.
As for History, this place has been pretty well covered before but suffice to say it was a Regional Command Bunker for the government in case of Nuclear attack. Some jerks drove a truck down the access tunnel a few years ago and started a fire that burned for six days releasing rather a huge amount of asbestos into the air. It's not a nice place.
Down the slightly less touristy stairs
The whole middle section has pretty much burned through leaving not a huge amount
The plant room on the bottom was probably the most interesting bit
Back up the touristy stairs and out
