Browns Folly has been widely reported, so I wont rehash the history here.

An enjoyable wander in the company of Tommo, Petzl, and Larey.

So a few pictures from today,

Re: Browns Folley Quarry, 19:09:09

Another sunny day and I go underground.

It was great to meet up with the guys and have a thorough good day exploring Browns and Getting use to my camera.

To start with I couldn't get any images on my camera and auto focus wouldn't work. Tommo pointed out that it helps to take the lens cap off, Doh.

So here are the photos from Pretzel:thumb

Re: Browns Folley Quarry, 19:09:09

nice day out, cheers guys i really enjoyed it, was nice to play arround with some pics i think we spend a good 2 hours just at clapham lol

some really nice pics and glad we sorted petzl out with his camera, looks like u really got the hang of it in the end your pics came out really well

it was cool going down around dinner time then coming out in the pitch black into the forest full of holes and cliffs and dangerous things lol

Nice!

I need to play this "Lying Down Game!" It looks great, some people have no sense of humour at all!!

i think we should start our own little lying down game, i know some staff from swindon hospital where involved, i dont see an issue with it as long as it was in there own time, its just a bit of fun, but lets not start a debate about it, so why not start a new thread up and see how many we can get in strange places, u know there are so many we can get, styru has done the first so may be he can start it of

couple of pics of the day from me

I found these what I thought were pebbles. When I got home and looked closely I found them to be different to normal pebbles. They are very white and feel like glass. I was so curious I drilled a small hole in one to find the centre soft. I then went on to to cut it in half. The centre is what looks like compacted dust with a 2-3mm crust and smooth finish.

Anyone have any clues to what these are?

I have put coins in photo for reference to size :thumb
