Report - Burtons Biscuits - rest of (Moreton, Wirral, Jun, 2018)

For background on this biscuit factory see the previous report in which blocks A - C on the north site of the site was covered. This was mainly admin, packaging and social things.

School is out for summer so myself and junior went to have a go at the three large blocks D, E and F on the south side. These had the production lines in the central shed-like spaces as well as numerous storage rooms, offices, locker rooms etc. at either end. Pictures are ordered from D to F going north to south for each block.

Overall, although I wasn’t expecting there to much machinery left, and there wasn’t, its still an interesting place to wander around - my favourite was all the multicoloured peely paint; as usual I wished I had a wider angle lens to capture these places better.

I found this much more interesting than the first report... decay and old tat, just my kind of stuff!

That roof is rather unusual, and very cool!
