Is this near the River Wye? Map shows some quite large quarries nearby but they look to be active. I hadn't seen a lime kiln like that before, with the concrete supporting pillars.

It looks like the place just of the A6. Been passed it a load of time but could never be bothered to stop

The buttresses were a later addition to the four kilns.

Used to be quite a few more lovely concrete buildings but they knocked them down to prevent scheduling ;-)
