Cathedral Steps / Victoria Arches - Manchester Dec 2010
Cathedral Steps / Victoria Arches
With so many reports, I don't have a lot to add in the way of history or photographs.
What struck me most was the feeling of stepping back in time, when tiles were curved
and shiny; rules were strictly enforced; doors were chunky and little things were
designed with attention to detail and quality, like the porcelain light fittings in the
toilets. A very enjoyable evening all round, especially the access
. Visited with Edd.
The iconic sign
Beautiful banisters
The men's room
Sandstone
Shadows
Fireproof Door
The room with the gauges
Chunky wall
