The Explore
Visited this power station with a friend (non-member). Although the powerstation is being demolished as we speak, we did not see any security or workmen - so, lucky for us, the explore was uneventful.
History
Unfortunately, I do not know much about the history of this site. Construction began in the late 1940 and the first two turbines were installed in 1951. Two more turbines followed in 1961 and 1963 while the last one was installed in 1973. The power station closed in 2020 and demolition started almost immediately afterwards. Two years later it is in a pretty sorry state.
