Centrale EDF, the first "proper" power station I've explored.
The station began operations between 1952 and 1959 with 3 55MW steam turbines, a further 2 125MW were added later. The power sources were coal, diesel and blast furnace gases. The station closed in 2009, partly due to the inoperation of ArcelorMittal nearby furnaces. Two of the turbines had been removed at the time of our visit.
