Report - chelmsford environmental laboratory

strutty and me visited chelmsfords currantly derelict
environmental health laboratory the sunday before last.
its quite a large site allthough most the stuff has been removed.
its still a very interesting place with very little vandalism so far.
it has 3 main buildings 2 large 2/3 floor buildings and a 3rd building that served as a morge.

most of the rooms in the first building resembled science classrooms

the sign asks people to use there elbows on the taps looks like someone was a bit rough

near the stairs we found loads of keys

turned round and spotted the safe. wonder if whoever was trying had any luck?

this sign made me open the door.

this sink made me close it. wtf?

another scary looking sink. what?how?why?

the other large building seemed to be split into lots of doctors surgery style rooms and offices with a large lab room upstairs i found this on the wall

i took a lot of photos i'll happily post more if anyone is interested

If it's to do with St John's then I very much doubt it's there anymore

Nah, this was part of the new cricket ground development. Remember looking for this when I first started and took me a while. It was part of DEFRA i believe. Long gone now though unfortunately! Now lived houses for the passed 3/4 years.
