History:1945 - Decca Radar Limited (Decca Records Subsiduary) founded, in New Maldon, Surrey, England, producing marine radar systems. 1979 - New Maldon factory is closed down. 1980-1983 - Decca Radar Limited is acquired by Racal Electronics. 1983 - Name changed to Racal-Decca Defence Systems (Radar) Limited before closing sometime in the early 2000s
