Report - Delights of Corfu - August 2021

Finally set sail for a holiday abroad and found myself in a lovely resort in Corfu.
Not much Corfu stuff here or on the web generally so I assumed there wasn't much but packed my camera anyway.
As it turns out, there is stuff every mile or so. It seems like if something is no longer needed it is just abandoned. All left wide open as well.
There was loads of stuff I wanted to have a go at, but as is usual, family pressures prevented me from spending even a fraction of the time I wanted to, looking around.
Here are a few things I managed to have a quick poke at. Very very difficult to get any sort of history on these places. Talking to the locals didn't help and they thought I was rather bizarre showing such interest in this stuff.

Really couldn't work out what this did,

Up in the hill. Just a chance find. Quite musty and dreary

Olive Oil Factory
Main feature of interest here was the evidence of Arabic speaking squatters (from the graf on the walls)
Looked like piles of bottle of piss in here

Only had my phone for this random find on a lost drive across the Island.
A very nice place to take a piss break though​

So if you are going to Corfu - Bring your camera! I can give any established members a map if they are heading out that way.

That looked a bit of a pig to get to. I think the setting looks impressive but I dont think the interior looks like it would be all that.

Just a couple of nice murals i think. Easy to get to but apparently getting arrested in a foreign country is not my mrs idea of a holiday.
