1. The History
Already done a pretty extensive history for my previous report which you can find HERE .

2. The Explore
Fourth time here and final report from my Easter hols in North Wales. Surprised that there aren’t more reports from the absolute gem of a place. It’s colossal and there is always something that you didn't see on previous visits. This time the weather was superb for this family visit to the Braich side. Managed to get up to the Caban but ran out of time to go up one more level to the Australia level and its legendary mill. Quite a few climbers and hikers around too but soon as I got up to Pen Garret level on C5. And amazing views across to the Garret side.

3. The Pictures

Coming in at Mill’s level about 1,000 ft up, one of the first things you see is the giant cabling for electric mountain following the Garret incline:

Lovely stuff, will never tire of going here. Had a great trip back in March - current avatar is me making a brew up in the cabin.

Sad that the cabin isn't in great shape of late, looks like its been used as a party venue a lot lately.

What a place. Beautiful shots. Never get tired of seeing all these slate remains. The cabin with its little burner and chimney is special. Views are just stunning.

LOVE Dinorwig, it feels like an old friend. Cracking pics!

Down and Beyond, yes the water level in the pool, nowadays called "Dali's Hole", goes up and down and the colour changes too. I've seen it rise by a couple of metres in an hour (During storm Ellen/Frances in Aug 2020) the weather was a bit "damp" at the time. You cave and srt... maybe next time you visit you should try the twll din of twll mawr squeeze? One for the cavers! I've not got round to it myself yet, but maybe next time? It's on the "Hobbits, Ladders and tunnels" route
