Visited this place earlier in the year just got round to posting it. Nearly didn't bother as its not terribly exciting. Not seen on here or anywhere else as far as I can gather. Its in the Middlehaven area of Middlesbrough once a very heavy industrialised area now mainly dominated by the Middlesbrough College. A shadow of its former industrial self, not a great deal left now sadly. A sort of brief history they were taken over in 2010 by Sulzer the Swiss engineering co.
This business has grown from a local engineering firm that was bought by Dowding & Mills in the 1940s to become part of a national provider of engineering solutions.
“In 2010, the company was acquired by Sulzer and is now an important element of a group that provides worldwide maintenance and repair services.
“Throughout the transition process, the experience and expertise of the staff have been retained, with many of the 32 engineers at the Middlesbrough site having between 30 and 40 years’ service for the company.
Sulzer provides maintenance for all types of equipment including motors, generators, pumps, gas and steam turbines as well as mechanical systems and gearboxes.
This business has relocated to new premises not too far away still in Middlesbrough. The building will probably be demolished to make way for the ever expanding Middlesbrough college.
No security so a fairly relaxed explore though there are mobile patrols every now and then. The scrap men have been in stripped the place bare once Sulzer had taken out what they needed for the new nearby premises.

Inside the well trashed office block not much of interest here.

Beauty photos! Was wondering what this place would be like now, I removed 3 overhead cranes out of here in approx 2014 and installed them into the new premises. I still remember the urinals being the worst I have ever seen!!

Cheers, went past it about a month or so ago still standing and appeared well sealed the scrap men have stripped it almost bare. I'm assuming it will be demoed at some point to make way for further developments in that area. Was there other items taken out and used in the new premises.
