Dear all, I was just curious, I did this once, and was escorted out...

This hobby is something I thought about pursuing, is it always trespassing when one enters such places?

Please do tell.

Regards Bryazz.

not if you seek permission for places....but then you may as well just grab an English heritage pass and hit the tourist attractions.

Aye. We've all dealt with security and escorts off the premises, but after a while you just learn to shrug them off. Unless there is a risk of being escorted out almost immediately after arrival, snubbing a chance to enjoy the location on your own terms, the actual interaction with security personnel themselves and the 'trespass' legal backdrop surrounding this is never something that factors in to my risk assessment of a venture. Gas pockets in mines and weak floors in mouldy high-rises are exponentially more severe risks to assess in this hobby. If I'd just had the time of my life in an astounding spot and was on my way out, where to wash the dirt off my hands would concern me more than a confrontation with security and the fuzz.
