History~
The Infirmary was built by Wolverhampton builders Henry Willcock & Co. at a cost of £13,000 and opened in 1888, providing three men's and three women's wards with thirty beds and five children's cots. A significant part of the cost was met by local philanthropist, Philip Horsman, who also donated the Art Gallery to the town and whose benefaction is commemorated in the Fountain in St. Peter's Gardens.

It late closed its doors in 2017 due to the site being moved to a different locations. The building has remainder empty since.

How the hell is that place still standing? It was wrecked and pissing water in five years ago, not to mention the local smackheads setting the place on fire.

I went past last week and that spire on the old part of the building is a burnt out shell, so I assume the local smackhead have been setting fire to it again.

Nope, as @Stranton said above, it's owned by BZ Property Holdings.

the council have taken the NHS Trust to court

...and a judge has finally ruled in favour of the council. BZ are hoping to start development work next year -
