Report - Fison's Fertiliser Plant, Bramford June 2015

Visited with ASOM. Got kicked out by the Picnic Police for trying to eat some sandwiches in the grounds of an old sanatorium so we went here instead. Rude.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Considering it's wide open, it hasn't suffered too much at the hands of the local scallies and still has some lovely original features. I'm not quite sure how it hasn't burnt down yet because it's literally the Wickerman waiting to happen. I also expected it to smell rancid due to the fertiliser/poo association but it was rather nice actually.

Visited here recently and like yourself I was impressed with the condition of it.

I found the big dog kennel disturbing until I realised I was empty.

Did you have a look at the tower at the back?

I didn't notice a tower, zero observation points.

Theres a chimney with a platform around it i think. Climbed it when i first visited in 2007

Did you see the copper monkeys? there was loads here when i stuck my head in earlier this year

If you look at the site there's a towerey type thing to the left hand side at the rear of the office block
