There's not much history on this place other than it's the former offices of Wigan Council Education department which closed down in 2012 and that it was built on the site of a former convent.
Although it's quite overlooked the access was straight forward and once inside there was evidence of the usual metal theft and rough sleeping. Not expecting to find much in there it was surprising to see the amount of toys and phone cases left behind by the previous occupiers. Not much to photograph in the way of detail but it did have some good bits of decay and signs of nature reclaiming the windows.
