The 'urbex' world may be pretty dead nowadays but thankfully there still seems to be a small trickle of really top notch stuff being discovered. Last year Tone Mills and Barking Power Station really impressed me in a kind of 'how has this not been explored before' kind of way. This year im getting the same feeling about this place. Credit to Jelly, he told me about the works earlier in the year and myself, Dweeb and OT checked it out when we were over in Wales a few months back. At the time it looked really promising but it was just too blatant for the time of day so we had to leave it. When i saw Jelly and Host had been in last week there was no question we would be there ASAP. Im fairly sure this place will get burnt fairly soon so don't waste time if you want a look!
It had been sold to me as a bit of a 'one room wonder' type explore but as usual we had a good poke about the rest and found some stunning stuff tucked away in lofts and cubby holes. It appears they had close links with the local newspaper and i found a great 40s-50s advertisement of some of the different book covers thy had printed. The Victorian posters downstairs were rather nice too!
