Done before. Done better, even. But fukit, these are mine MINE I TELL YOU.
Not much to say, abandoned SNCB freight locomotives in an abandoned SNCB freight locomotive rail yard at the tail end of the world's most pockmarked access road.
It is my understanding that you Englishers spent most of 1914-1918 shooting up the Hun in Flanders' fields, much of it with very heavy artillery, and they NEVER GOT AROUND TO FIXING THE FUCKING SHELL HOLES it's that bad. I swear. Sheesh.
You want history? Right, they had a bunch of locomotives, and then when they didn't work so well anymore, they got kinda lazy and parked them in this place, and now it's full of locomotives. And somewhere along the line, someone forgot to mow the lawn, and now it's full of triffids and horse manure that the local farmers dump down the hillside. What is it about this hobby and poo? One would think that at least once, there'd be less poo involved.
Hear, have some trains. Everybody loves trains. Also, big-ass composite panos. Knock yourselves out.
Also,
...cuz JSt is awesum sauce.
Please note that these are the bandwidth-not-destroying little itty bitty tiny midget HO-gauge versions. The originals in all their up-to-10,000-pixels-glamorous-Belgian-train-glory are in my Flickr feed.
