Report - Glen Rubber Works, Todmorden, March '10

28DL Full Member
As recently as 1998 the Calderdale Rubber Company employed 47 workers and was exporting compounded rubber products to three continents. The firm closed in 2000 and its factory, Glen Works, has since stood empty and vandalised. A firm based in Jersey has put plans to Calderdale Council to build 28 houses on the site.
I'd seen this back in October last year but hadn't had chance to get back there and check it out. A chance conversation with Gorecki and it went onto the list for our northwest extravaganza!

Visit with the usual suspects Stu, Laura, Speed & Rooks.
