Decided to sign up since I got a DSLR and I'm totally using it as an excuse to go urban exploring. Figured whilst I'm taking photos for myself I may as well share my reports!
Myself and a few buddies went up to Groverake Mines today and well, it was an experience.
We only touched the surface as you can tell by the last photo. Would of loved to have seen more (and go into the tunnels!) but after seeing a sheep, mutilated and just lying there - we bailed. Haha.
Looks like a great place to explore at a later time though. Will hopefully get the balls to fully investigate.
Tried my luck to try and climb the control tower but it's rusted away almost completely now. Having a giant fear of heights never helped.
