This is a stunning culvert considering it just runs under a field

I had a look at the infall first but that was a complete no go so I walked down to the 12x18ft brick outfall.

Pretty much straight away the depth of the water fluctuates between a couple of inches and waist deep from one step to the next, combine that with how slippy all the rocks are and it's a recipe for disaster, quite a few times I thought I was going swimming but managed to stay upright.

Did you pop up there ???

looks like a small tunnel ahead and coal feed from the left

I didn't climb up :(

I was on call and only had an hour, there are some nice steps further up as well which I didn't go up

Good to see shots of this place again PP!

When I went a few years back there was the nasty remains of a dead ram where that coal is now.
