Report - Hall Place Business and Enterprise Centre, Canterbury, Kent - August 2023

I had seen this place in Canterbury a number of times and thought it looked derp, but only now decided to check it out. It seems it had been derp for a number of years. It was part of Canterbury University; but I can’t find much about it online.

The original building is 16th Century and has been heavily modernised. There wasn’t a busting lot to see, but the odd nice shot.

The air in here is utterly grim, proper back of the throat stuff. Nasty.

Haha. Out of context it’s pretty funny, which is why I took the photo. But the sad reality is, it was referring to some sort of hot food counter.

From the notices in there it was still in use in the LOCKDOWN although its in terrible nick for that short time. The roof has been pikied and water pouring in the other day so things can onty get worse. easy walk in for those interested.

It used to be huge Kent contractor Wiltshier office in the 80s before they went pop in a big way. I used to go there to see them as cutomers. Deja Vue for me !!
