Report - Hellingly hospital chapel Aug 16

With works now being carried out on Bowhill and the last villa, the chapel is the last remaining reminder that there was ever a asylum that stood there.

A long time ago I was lucky enough to sneak in, when a nhs staff member left the door open, it was packed with old remnants from the main asylum, including padding, I presume from the cells & lots of other bits.

Alot has been cleared out now but there was still some real gems hidden in a back room still.

Ww2 gas masks, some nice old signs, loads of medical equipment etc

Does anyone still have the photos that were taken of the stuff in that room years ago before the chapel got derelict? Think it was Silverstealth that got in there maybe?
