Spent more time looking for this place than we spent inside. We knew it was somewhere in a field in Hertford but weren’t too sure about the exact location. Anyway, after a bit of scouting around and toying around with maps, Gabe, Tig and I spied that big post poking up from the ground.
Unfortunately it’s been rather ransacked and just a pillow and plastic cup remain there (more Starbucks than World War II). Still an interesting find though. After this, we headed to the Gunpowder Mills.
Opened in January 1961 and closed in September 1991.
