The former headquarters of the Yorkshire Building Society was built in the 1970's
Topping out at 131ft, it's the highest rooftop in the City
In March 2010, it became the venue for an illegal rave, with over 500 youths, mainly Mancunians arrived by the coach load
I know a few people who attended on the night, sadly it was shut down before it even started... Busted!
I've wanted to have a mooch in here for an age now, and as we passed by in search of drains we somehow found our way inside and onto the rooftop as you do
The views were amazing, however the building itself is f00ked with fuck all left worthy of reporting
As we crept about the place it was soon apparent we weren't alone as a team of pikeys were on with stripping the place, that said we hastily left!
