It is very much demolished now, sadly.

I would have loved the opportunity to go and see this place again before it was demolished. I was in the last shipment of female YO’s out fo the jail in 2006 before it changed to foreign nationals. Was mad being 1 of only a handful of prisoners left in there on the last night. Fascinating to see this place again, the pictures bring back a lot of memories. No 26 used to be a swimming pool until they filled it in, the blue carpeted room is the visitors room, the wooden building housed the adult lifers and that covered walk way was the way to the dining room and chapel.
