Thought I better get a few explores in quickly as most of the site is going to be demolished soon, with the old parts turned in to "town houses".
Thanks a lot to Lost and Gorecki for the advice they gave!
I have included my "explore" of nearby Inchdrewer Castle as I wanted to show it but don't think it deserves it's own thread!
Ladysbridge is a large complex of pretty gloomy looking disasters of 50's and 60's architecture. I did over 3 years voluntary work with a few former residents of ladysbridge. Despite their experiences being ok, this place is unfortunately full of a history of neglect. Gorecki has found that over it's years of operation, there has been over 60 deaths which have to this day remained unaccounted for, as well as physical and indeed sexual abuse to defensless patients.
The complex is surrounded by a tree belt, so that no matter where you are, you can only see within the cofines of the hospital.
Enough of the gloom, here's some photos I got.
a wee roof shot
showers and changing rooms to the left!!
in the tunnels
this room is like a cell
the main hall from the projector room
one of the freaky children statues!
part of the old hospital
